Q: Where did you grow up, and where do you live now?
A: I was born and raised in the capital city of Indonesia, Jakarta. Lived for two years in Nottingham for my undergraduate degree and currently live in London for my postgraduate degree.

Q: What have you studied, and what are you doing now?
A: I graduated with a BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing & Branding and I am currently undergoing my postgraduate study MA Strategic Fashion Marketing at London College of Fashion.

Q: How would you describe your personal style in 3-5 words?
A: Luxuriously feminine yet modernly edgy

Q: Where do you shop? Luxury or high street? New or vintage? Boutiques? Online?
A: It really depends on my need and my situation. I would go for high street such as Topshop and H&M for daily wear but occasionally I might splurge a bit on bags, shoes or evening gowns that I will either long-lastingly use or occasionally use for an important event. In terms of clothing style, I would go for new but I also like to incorporate vintage in some minor pieces. I like the idea of buying online but I often need to see and check the product with my own eyes if it's something worth-trying for. So maybe a combination of both store and online.

Q: If you had $300 for a shopping spree, how many items would you buy?
A: I would go for 3-5 items.

Q: Do you prefer street style fashion or runway fashion?
A: For dailywear, I prefer streetstyle. Runaway is however exceptional for high-end events, dinner and parties.

Q: What do you splurge on? Skimp on?
A: I splurge on bags and shoes. I skimp on casual clothes for everyday comfort.

Q: When and how did you become interested in fashion, and where do you find your inspiration?
A: Ever since I was young, I have loved the whole idea of aesthetic beauty. Maybe because I grew up loving all things "girly" from fashion magazines, shopping, make up and salon. I use fashion as a form of self-expression of who I am, my taste and what my brand image is. I find my inspirations from a variety of places and things that make up what fashion is today. I believe fashion is also a result of creative thought process that emerges from myriads of different cultures, backgrounds, global concepts and ideas. But if you ask where I mostly find these inspirations from, it's no other than social media such as instagram and pinterest.

Q: Who are your favorite style icon(s)?
A: Olivia Palermo and Kristina Bazaan

Q: What are your favorite fashion blogs? Magazines?
A: Kature.com, Net-a-porter, Vogue, and Harper's Bazaar

Q: What do you love about fashion? Not love?
A: What I love about fashion is that it is an undeniably powerful tool that shapes the entire culture today. It is in fact the medium that integrates different industries together. What I don't like about it though is that it is often underestimated by a lot of people. Yes it is about luxury, prestigious brands and high-end events, but it is also about hard working people all from the labor workforce up to the new designers and/or young entrepreneurs that shed their sweat and blood off in order for these glamorous displays to be showcased as what they are. Sometimes people should take a good look not just at the "front" but also at the "back" (behind-the-scenes) of fashion.

Q: Your favorite designers & brands?
A: Chanel, Alexander McQueen and Balmain

Q: Do you follow fashion trends? Which ones?
A: Yes if I think it suites my personality and style. I never force fashion to work for me. I work to create fashion.
I currently love the nude and minimalist fashion trends.

Q: Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
A: Know the strengths and weaknesses of your body type. Cover the weakness, highlight the strength. Don't just follow any fashion trend without considering your personality, body type and sense of comfort & confidence.

Q: Which would you be best at? Worst at? (Stylist, Designer, Photographer, Buyer)
A: I might be best at being a buyer because I have keen eyes for visual aesthetics. Stylist and photographer are next and designer might be the last because I am not good at sketches and knitting :p

Q: What is your dream job?
A: Setting up a fashion-based lifestyle brand that speaks about my sense of aesthetics and that can be catered to young, modern global individuals.

Q: What are your other interests? How do you spend your spare time?
A: I love singing, writing songs, as well as watching drama, movies and musicals.
