Q: Where did you grow up, and where do you live now?
A: I grew up in Munich and Augsburg, Germany until I was 15. We've moved to Belgium 5 years ago. I now live 20 minutes (by car) away from beautiful, international Brussels.

Q: What have you studied, and what are you doing now?
A: I just got into my second year in college. I'm studying Business Management in Brussels.

Q: How would you describe your personal style in 3-5 words?
A: a mix of casual, urban, subtly sharp (either through statement pieces or a bold lip color), chic, sensual.

Q: Where do you shop? Luxury or high street? New or vintage? Boutiques? Online?
A: I pick up long desired items in some high street stores and mostly online (Asos and Missguided are my favorite ones). I am kind of a "new fashion" adept; however I've just discovered a fancy love for vintage clothing.

Q: If you had $300 for a shopping spree, how many items would you buy?
A: 6-8 items normally but in sales season, twice as much.

Q: Do you prefer street style fashion or runway fashion?
A: BOTH!

Q: What do you splurge on? Skimp on?
A: I am a hair and body care product junkie, so those items are what I splurge on most. Fashionwise, it is dresses and heels that I happen to spend most money on. I skimp on basics because I already own so many of them that it's necessary for me to complement that part of my wardrobe with edgier pieces.

Q: When and how did you become interested in fashion, and where do you find your inspiration?
A: As a kid I dreamed about gracing the catwalk for the most prestigious brands in fashion.

Q: Who are your favorite style icon(s)?
A: Rihanna, Zendaya Coleman, Solange, Zoe Kravitz, Willow Smith.

Q: What are your favorite fashion blogs? Magazines?
A: Harber's Bazaar, Shirley B. Eniang's wardrobe

Q: What do you love about fashion? Not love?
A: It's been said, written and shown again and again but fashion gives you the possibility and ability to express yourself through style creation. However, the industry still has to deal with some issues that are harmful and discriminating against others. Therefore people need to make their own idea of what fashion means to them and how they let the industry influences their choices; which leads to what I love about fashion: expression of self.

Q: Your favorite designers & brands?
A: Zuhair Murad, Elie Saab, Zac Posen, Alexandre Vauthier, Olivier Rousteing, Kenzo, Bottega Veneta, Zara, Massimo Dutti, The Kooples, Andrea Iyamah, Queen E. Collection...for now.

Q: Do you follow fashion trends? Which ones?
A: I usually don't. I am more of a retro trends chaser. When skinny jeans first came out as a trend I was full on wide legged 2003 jeans. But the trend I loved most and that I religiously followed was: pointed-toe heels/boots (OMG: TIMELESS, now I don't wear anything but those and only those) crop tops + high waisted bottoms (midi skirt, jeans, trousers).

Q: Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
A: If I want to show off some skin it's either only my legs, meaning I wear a turtleneck midi or shorter dress (mini dresses don't totally work for me because of my derrière), or my back, arms, cleavage, etc. You got it. It's one body part at a time. That's my classic rule. However, I sometimes break my own rule when I feel like it as long as it's not vulgar.

Q: Which would you be best at? Worst at? (Stylist, Designer, Photographer, Buyer)
A: I'd be best at buying, then styling, designing and lastly at photography although I had some photo editing classes in highschool. There was a time I aspired to become a designer and architect because I had a talent in drawing and was creative fashionwise. However, over time my love for actually assembling highly admired designer's clothes grew bigger. This is how I explain it.

Q: What is your dream job?
A: I love singing so much that if I had classes to improve my vocal skills right about now and that I got back in touch with my friends that dabble in music, I'd be a singer/songwriter.

Q: What are your other interests? How do you spend your spare time?
A: As mentioned just right above, music. I listen a lot and love to discover new artists and get inspired by their art. When I'm not writing essays for my college courses I dive into books. I'm a big fan of Cassey Ho, the creator of Blogilates, so I try to do pilates regularly to keep fit. And on top of that I just love spending time with my friends in Brussels (especially eating out!)
