A: I grow up in a beautiful city in front of the sea in southern Italy but moved to Venice when I was 18. There I spent the latest years of my life till when, few months ago, I decided to move to London.
Q: What have you studied, and what are you doing now?
A: I've studied Fashion Design and then specialising in Fashion Communication. Now I'm co-founder and editor for an online fashion magazine called COFFEEDENTIAL and I work as a freelance contributor for other magazines and online brands.
Q: Where do you shop?
A: I mostly shop online but from brand that I know well: I don't want to receive bad surprises! I generally mix hight street collections from brand such as Weekday or COS, and designer's items, especially as regards shoes and bags.
Q: If you had $300 for a shopping spree, how many items would you buy?
A: I would buy just one, perfect piece. At the moment I'm in love with a sandal from Acne SS15 collection.
Q: Do you prefer street style fashion or runway fashion?
A: I won't put them in opposition since I believe there's a strong connection between the two. The street can be so inspiring and fashion itself sometimes pick up ideas from it. Then I like discovering how people translate runway fashion in their own way, mixing for example an iconic bag with a traditional costume or a vintage piece.
Q: When and how did you become interested in fashion, and where do you find your inspiration?
A: When I was a child I spent my time drawing dresses and flipping through the pages of my mother's fashion magazines. Still, l I found paper the most inspiring source even though I believe that inspiration is everywhere: it's just your eyes that have to be inspired enough to catch it.
Q: What are your favorite fashion blogs? Magazines?
A: I like COFFEEDENTIAL, StyleBubble and TheSartorialist while my favorite magazines are Gioia!, AnotherMagazine and Vogue Italia. I do also like some independent publication like Sicky magazine.
Q: Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
A: I generally like mixing a sporty and basic item with a more elegant or particular one to maintain the balance in my style.
Q: What are your other interests? How do you spend your spare time?
A: I love travelling and I try to plan two or three trips every year but when I'm not able to travel I like discovering new places in the place where I live, like trying a new restaurant or exploring a new area. I like wondering through parks and flower markets and watching movies till late at night. If the movie is really inspiring, I like sketching what have attracted my interest: the hairstyle of a character or a detail in his/her outfit, a particular scenario or a strange pose.
