cosmopolitan - open-minded - multi-national ~ multi-tasking ~ multi-living

As contradictive it might sound, in line with my fashion addiction, I love economics and finance. Money, investments, mathematics. I admire logic and Ratio.
And both my fashion-style and my life-style reflect that system of thoughts. I aim to harmonize feminity with masculine touch expressing sartoreal elegance. Minimalism, purity and mathematical precision are my credo.

My faves:

Mario Testino, Nima Benati, Vanina Sorrenti
Kayture, The Raww Blog
Buro247, HArper's Bazaar
Olivia Palermo, Anja Rubik, Dasha Gauzer

INTERVIEW

Q: Where are you from?
A: I am from Kiyw, the capital of Ukraine.

Q: Where did you grow up, and where do you live now?
A: I grew up in the busy megapolis Kiyw and moved to the tranquille Duesseldorf, Germany, at the age of 12. Now I am living in Frankfurt am Main, our Mainhattan

Q: What have you studied, and what are you doing now?
A: I am studying economics at the university of Cologne and am doing an internship in touristic product management.

Q: Links to your social networks / style networks if you wish to share?

Instagram: http://instagram.com/granadadilla

Linkedin: de.linkedin.com/pub/babenko-yelyzaveta/86/1a9/6ba

Q: How would you describe your personal style in 3-5 words?
A: Contradictive, concentrated, sophisticated, versatile

Q: Where do you shop? Luxury or high street? New or vintage? Boutiques? Online?
A: I combine luxury and upscale bags and shoes with high street brands and shop mainly online. In vintage, you can find many unique pieces but I can't stand the smell of an old pillow there! So I often shop via apps Videddressing and Depop for interesting things. I love Farfetch and Yoox for their talent of merchandising and organizing things into sophisticated looks, for their versatility and the website lay-out.

Q: If you had $300 for a shopping spree, how many items would you buy?
A: I think I would buy a roomy luxe tote or a pair of Aquazurra heels. Just one - but amazing.

Q: Do you prefer street style fashion or runway fashion?
A: Runway with strong spirit of street style having conquered conformity.
That is where I take inspiration from and create my own street styles. I alway have enourmously much ideas.
Besides,I love to observe street style looks and people behind them. I often admire a look and feel real pleasure just like Im visiting an art exhibition.

Q: What do you splurge on? Skimp on?
A: I splurge on handmade shoes, masculine hats and Agent Provocateur. I skimp on bijouterie: I won't purchase lots of jewellery until I am rich enough to get a sophisticated piece from Delphine Delettrez or Erickson Beamon.

Q: What 3 items must a woman have in her wardrobe?
A: Every person should have a leather jacket, a pair of perfect jeans and a roomy luxe tote.
A woman must possess some outrageous heels, a white dress and Agent Provocateur.

Q: When and how did you become interested in fashion?
A: I was born fashion-wired.
No, seriously, I cant remember when I became interested. Ive always been into fashion.

Q: Where do you find your fashion inspiration?
A: On the runway, in photographer's works, in art and architecture, in history and epic personalities, in communities and communication, on travels and in blockbasters... In the air, actually.

Q: Who is your favorite style icon(s)?
A: Every person with self-confidence, will-power and charisma just living his/her life.

Q: What do you love about fashion? Not love?
A: I love the magic, the feeling of living a phantasy. I don't love the hastic trend dash and street style races.

Q: Who are your favorite designers?
A: It depends on. Prabal Gurung, Phillip Lim, Celine,Alexander Wang, MCM in luxury. Saint Laurent for dandy-ish masculinity (blazers, boots, blouses). Diesel, Bionda Castana and Hugo Boss in high street. &Other Stories, Zign, Esprit, Hallhuber for common shopping. A bright pot, as you see. Since recently, I also shop for brands with responsible and organic fashion like El Naturalista, Umasan or Armed Angels for basics.

Q: Do you follow fashion trends? Which ones?
A: I dont. But monochromatic, minimal and sporty chic with a masculine touch often guide my style.

Q: Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
A: Caution with colours! Only one piece with bright colour palette. No exaggerations with trendy-trendy trends and wicked cuts. Less is more.Really.

Q: What would you never wear?
A: Plastic.

Q: Which would you be best at? Worst at? (Stylist, Designer, Photogprapher, Buyer)
A: Buyer, stylist and fashion analytist. I like to identify trends whirring in the air. I like to develop a person's style putting fashion and the individual behind it in harmony. As I was little, I dreamed of becoming a designer, but I am terribly bad at manufacturing

Q: What is your dream job?
A: My dream job would be to receive and receive fashion pieces which I'd create endlessly different looks and styles with!

Q: What are your other interests? How do you spend your spare time?
A: Besides style, photography and art, I love literature and language. The art of writing, the communication. Furthemore,I will never stop loving the adventure of travelling. Today, both print and travel face the digital challenge and a 24/7 pressure. I resist against this acceleration of experience and bring back pleasure and joy by sometimes turning everything off.
My IPhone, my PC and myself.

Q: In which city / place on Earth do you feel at home and would like to live?
A: I immediately felt at home in Italy. No matter, city or village, Milano or Florence the smell of Italian mornings (fresh croissants, wet streets, Arno river, deadly strong espresso, miele), melodious Italiano, expression and passion of Italian people, their deep intuition for style and, of course, the Italian men!:)
I am totally Italy.
Well, Ive never been to New York though. I can imagine, this would be my city, too.

Dear dandys and fashionistas,
