Q: How would you describe your personal style in 3-5 words?
A: sophisticated, edgy, unpredictable
Q: Where do you shop? Luxury or high street? New or vintage? Boutiques? Online?
A: All of the above. I don't discriminate.
Q: If you had $300 for a shopping spree, how many items would you buy?
A: Probably under 5. Maybe even under 3!
Q: Do you prefer street style fashion or runway fashion?
A: I prefer them both. Besides the runway is inspired by the streets..
Q: What do you splurge on? Skimp on?
A: I always go for quality, but that doesn't mean you always have to splurge. Vintage and thrift shops are great places to by high quality items for a lower price.
Q: When and how did you become interested in fashion, and where do you find your inspiration?
A: Ever since I was 12 and got my first gift card to Abercrombie + Fitch (thank god my style has evolved since then!) I was never a fan of shopping but I loved that I could create my own look and got into it as a form of self expression. I have so much fun with it. It has never not been fun to me. I am inspired by other bloggers, my friends, artwork, NEW YORK IN GENERAL!

Q: What do you love about fashion? Not love?
A: The design and creativity of it. Not loving that it's capitalism's favorite child. The exploitation of workers in third world countries is terrible. Companies like Forever 21, H&M, Zara need to stop. Fast fashion is terrible for the environment and for the workers elsewhere. Western culture needs to stop exploiting the east without giving credit. I hope to change this.
Q: Your favorite designers & brands?
A: Alexander McQueen.
Q: Do you follow fashion trends? Which ones?
A: I am aware of them, if I follow them? Ah. I don't know. If I actually really like something I'll seek it out. I would never just get something because it's "in"
Q: Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
A: Don't care what other people will think of it.
Q: Which would you be best at? Worst at? (Stylist, Designer, Photographer, Buyer)
A: Best at designing, worst at buying. I have no interest in that..
Q: What is your dream job?
A: Probably not invented yet. To empower women through fashion in third world countries. The next rising economy is just that, women entrepreneurs in Eastern culture. I can't wait.
Q: What are your other interests? How do you spend your spare time?
A: Museum, traveling, reading, writing. I currently work for an incredible company, PROJECT JUST, that shares the same morals as I do in terms of fashion and works to making a meaningful difference. I love New York, I love exploring it, I've made awesome friends here so I like to spend time with them doing just that. In graduate school I have to read a lot so I don't have too much free time.
