Q: Where did you grow up, and where do you live now?
A: I've lived all over America; the northeast, southeast, and west coast. I was born in Harford, Connecticut. Moved to North Carolina at around age six. Lived in N.C. until I was 18. I went to college in Savannah, GA. Later I moved to Los Angeles for school when I was 25. Right now I'm back on the East Coast in North Carolina.

Q: What have you studied, and what are you doing now?
A: I went to SCAD and graduated with a B.F.A. in Interior Design. I decided to change direction and went to
FIDM where I studied product development and footwear design. I've now found something I'm passionate about,
working in the fashion industry in various capacities and contributing something positive to the world through my creativity.
Currently, I'm working as an Alterations and Tailor Shop Administrator, while I continue to work toward my goal of becoming a successful designer.

Q: How would you describe your personal style in 3-5 words?
A: Eclectic, Functional, Versatile

Q: Where do you shop? Luxury or high street? New or vintage? Boutiques? Online?
A: H & M, Nordstrom, Forever 21, Express, and online.
Q: If you had $300 for a shopping spree, how many items would you buy?
A: I would either buy a nice bag, or I would buy a whole outfit of quality pieces I could merchandise with
other clothes in my closet.

Q: Do you prefer street style fashion or runway fashion?
A: I like both, I really like to see people mesh street style and high fashion.

Q: What do you splurge on? Skimp on?
A: I'm always on a budget and I shop smart so I don't really splurge. For instance the other day I bought two pairs of jeans from Express for $39.50 each. I like to browse online to look for sales also.

Q: When and how did you become interested in fashion, and where do you find your inspiration?
A: I've always expressed myself through art and my clothes. Since I was five I've liked to put together my own outfits and loved watching movies and music videos and seeing what people were wearing and getting ideas for outfits.

Now I get inspiration from technology, art, music, and internally.

Q: Who are your favorite style icon(s)?
A: I love M.I.A.'s style because she effortlessly takes all of her influences and creates a style like no one else. I also like Lana Del Rey and her west coast, old Hollywood vibe.

Q: What are your favorite fashion blogs? Magazines?
A: micdotcom, chanelbagsandcigarettedrags, sassique, orlansky, patternity, nowness
W magazine, V magazine, paper magazine,
I don't really buy magazines anymore because I find so much inspiration from online.

Q: What do you love about fashion? Not love?
A: I love how ethereal fashion can be. When I see a designer who makes clothes that just are amazing or they have ideas that blow me away. I just love it. It inspires me to push myself and come up with better ideas.

I don't love contouring or waist training. I feel like these trends focus on having people alter their appearance in a negative way. People shouldn't be afraid of embracing what is unique about them. Work with what you have and enhance it.

Q: Your favorite designers & brands?
A: Alexander Wang, Versace, Calvin Klein, Vivienne Westwood, Karl Lagerfield, Proenza Schouler, Public School NY

Q: Do you follow fashion trends? Which ones?
A: I'm an early adopter. But I do like the athleisure trend, knee length bodicon jersey dresses, and nude make up look.

Q: Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
A: Not really, If I put on an outfit and it makes me uncomfortable I take it off. Just depends on how I'm feeling.

Q: Which would you be best at? Worst at? (Stylist, Designer, Photographer, Buyer)
A: I could do all.

Q: What is your dream job?
A: Having my own footwear company and boutique.

Q: What are your other interests? How do you spend your spare time?
A: Learning French, I love cooking and baking, exploring the city, watching movies, sketching, sewing, gardening,
