A: I am studying Global Communications and Journalism at the moment.
Q: How would you describe your personal style in 3-5 words?
A: Chic, elegant, rebelish, black and expensive
Q: Where do you shop? Luxury or high street? New or vintage? Boutiques? Online?
A: I combine luxurious items with high street pieces of clothing. I love to mix different styles and to be creative with the way I dress. I always prefer to wear new clothes arrived directly from the runway but sometimes I find inspiration in the vintage women's clothing.
Q: If you had $300 for a shopping spree, how many items would you buy?
A: Quality over quantity, so I would prefer to buy 1-2 things but I will know that they are really worth it.
Q: Do you prefer street style fashion or runway fashion?
A: This is like choosing between chocolate oreo cake and tiramisu in kinder bueno. Street style fashion amazes me because it shows the personality of the people behind the clothes and through the way they wear them and combine the different pieces they bring the clothes to life. However, we cannot live without runway fashion! It highlights the tendencies at the moment and shows the incredible hard-work of the designers.
Q: Who are your favorite style icon(s)?
A: I love the elegant style of Audrey Hepburn and Elizabeth Taylor. However, from a more modern perspective I love Rihanna's style because she is bold and takes risky decisions but always looks flawless.
Q: What are your favorite fashion blogs? Magazines?
A: Vogue is the bible!
Q: What do you love about fashion? Not love?
A: I love everything about fashion - the fact that it exists everywhere around us and we can imagine the personality of a person just by the way he/she is dressed. I detest he fact that many people perceive it as mediocre, when in fact it is one of the most powerful and money-making industries in the world.
Q: Your favorite designers & brands?
A: My all time favourite designer is Alexander McQueen and despite the fact that he is gone, I believe that his legacy will remain forever because he brought fashion on a whole new level. His fashion shows were not all about fashion, but he touched upon important issues such as racism and rape culture. Other designers that inspire and fascinate me are Yves Saint Laurent and Coco Chanel. The brands that make my heart skip a beat everytime they have a new collection are Alexander Wang, Balmain and Givenchy.
Q: Which would you be best at? Worst at? (Stylist, Designer, Photographer, Buyer)
A: I think I will be best as a stylist because I can really put an outfit together but I will be worst as a designer because I cannot draw.
Q: What is your dream job?
A: Chief in editor of American Vogue!
