Q: Where did you grow up, and where do you live now?
A: A northern industrial town in England genuinely called Redcar. Having lived the last year between Montreal, Canada and Tokyo, I am now back in England living in the little Leamington Spa with a bunch of beautiful girls. Montrealers had pretty cool casual style but the style in Tokyo is unreal- endless new ideas, cool styling, totally unique and you want everyone's clothes.

Q: What have you studied, and what are you doing now?
A: International Management, it pretty boring but I get to do languages and study abroad.

Q: Links to your style networks?
A: hopeandilse.wordpress.com
hopephotographs.tumblr.com

Q: How would you describe your personal style in 3-5 words?
A: Modern, Fun and Eclectic.

Q: Where do you shop? Luxury or high street? New or vintage? Boutiques? Online?
A: Everything online, I am too indecisive shopping for myself - 15 laps later and I haven't bought anything. Ebay is my church.

Q: What do you splurge on? Skimp on?
A: Leather shoes, leather bags and I skimp on the crazy items so I can buy even more, the more cow print and mirrors the better.

Q: Who are your favorite style icon(s)?
A: Apparently the countries of Sweden and Denmark, are they all cool!? Blog stalker alert. But also Alexa Chung has that distinctly English look and she never looks bad.

Q: What are your favorite fashion blogs? Magazines?
A: ASOS magazine is amazing, I don't care if they are just trying to sell me stuff. Also a loyal Elle subscriber, there is something special about still having paper, the delivery is like Christmas.

My Top 3 Fashion Blogs would be:
1. http://www.stylebubble.co.uk/ - For her fun mix of high street, designer and vintage as well as exposure to new designers.

2. http://nemesisbabe.dk/?lang=en - A Danish blogger who shows the Nordic countries really are taking over on the modern style stakes.

3. http://tokyofashion.com/photos/- Organised by districts of Tokyo- while the fashion is extroverted, it is great for styling ideas you hadn't yet thought of.

Q: Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
A: Try it, it might work.

Q: Which would you be best at? Worst at? (Stylist, Designer, Photographer, Buyer)
A: I had a long lasting dream to become a designer before realising it's not for me, so as fun as styling is I think I could apply my analytical side best to Buying.

Q: What is your dream job?
A: A Trend Forecaster at WGSN London, a photographer, magazine editor, make-up artist and a stylist- I want to do everything!!!!
