Q: Where did you grow up, and where do you live now?
A: I grew up in Calgary and now I live in Victoria and Vancouver part-time.

Q: What have you studied, and what are you doing now?
A: I'm studying economics at the University of Victoria and doing a minor in commerce.

Q: Links to your style networks?
A: I have a Tumblr that inspires me:
http://xialways.tumblr.com/

Q: How would you describe your personal style in 3-5 words?
A: minimalist, chic, relaxed

Q: Where do you shop? Luxury or high street? New or vintage? Boutiques? Online?
A: I do not discriminate when it comes to shopping.

Q: If you had $300 for a shopping spree, how many items would you buy?
A: One or two killer pieces.

Q: Do you prefer street style fashion or runway fashion?
A: I like the idea of combining the two.

Q: When and how did you become interested in fashion, and where do you find your inspiration?
A: Ever since I was little I always pushed to have my own individual look. I used to strive to be different, to stand out. When all the girls were wearing pink, I would shop for things in the boys section. I used to set mini trends in my schools when I was younger. As I grew up, however, those trends became a little more realistic. One thing I've noticed about fashion is if you want to set a trend, if you dare to step outside of the confining walls of mediocrity, you NEED to do so with confidence. I love fashion because it pushes you to do so. I find inspiration everywhere.

Q: Who are your favorite style icon(s)?
A: Kylie Jenner and Rihanna.

Q: What are your favorite fashion blogs? Magazines?
A: I usually gather most of my inspiration from Tumblr/Instagram.
