I am a French fashion blogger living and working in London.
I am a girly girl who can't live without music. Fashion needs music and reciprocally.

INTERVIEW:

Q. Your love for Fashion: short or long story?
A. It's definitely a long story. When I was 3 years old I was dancing on Womack and Womack' song "teardrops" wearing a fancy dress and big 80 s glasses...
At 12 years old, I was creating my own Fashion collection with a children's game called "Dessinons la mode"...I have always been attracted by colours, patterns, music, Arts...
At 16 years old, I used to cut my favourite Fashion and Beauty articles and had a "Fashion book". I have always loved Fashion.

Q. Your favourite colours?
A. Black, blue and pink.

Q. Your favourite cloth?
A. An elegant mid length dress.

Q. Where do you go shopping?
A. Now, I try to avoid "high street" Fashion shops, "fast Fashion" shops for two main reasons:
first of all most of the items are made in these "sweat shops" in horrible conditions. I don't want to pay for that. I try to discover new designers and there are many very interesting new talents in London! Most of the time, in these little shops, the dresses are not expensive. Since I learned a lot about how the big brands behave, I started to research a lot to consume smartly and get more original outfits. Go to Brick Lane, you will see!
Secondly, I often find that massive Fashion boring, girls on the Saturday night are all looking identical and not always chic. In vintage shops and small designer ones, you can find quality patterns with style! I prefer give money to small people full of creativity now.

I now try to consume English or French. French have this "je ne sais quoi" and "savoir faire" and English designers have the freedom and creativity, I love it. And it's good for the Economy!
I am preparing a special feature on the blog...

Q. Some brands which inspire you?
A. Naf Naf, Maje, Sandro, Tara Jarmon, Comptoir des Contonniers, Jigsaw, French Connection, Kurt Keiger, Dune, San Marina, Minelli, Geox, Yumi Mazao, Americam apparel, Tudo Bom.

I also take inspirations from magazines, Sassique lookbooks, blogs, French icons and old movies. I love the style of Audrey Hepburn!

Q. Some top designers and Haute Couture brands?
A. Elie Saab! But also Chanel, Alexandre Vaultier, Chloe, Zuhair Murad, Balmain, Lanvin, Dior...

Q. Do you have Fashion icons?
A.I would say Alexa Chung, Audrey Hepburn, the character of Blair Waldor, Carrie Bradshaw, Ines de la Fressange...timeless stylish women and not bimbos please!

Q. How can you sum up your style?
A. It's hard to say...I would say casual chic... I always need to feel comfortable (moreover, when you are not, trust me it can be ridiculous...) but I always try to bring a "chic" touch to my outfit.
I take my time to choose my basics and I am not changing it every two months.
I prefer spend more in one amazing pair of shoes (especially for the winter) that will last 2, 3 years ( and even more) rather than buying 5 Primark shoes. I used to do that, like a lot of women and regretted it.

I think I have a basic French style with a girly English touch...I love classy, chic and very feminine style. I also believe that we should remain simple in the attitude...

Q. Are you a Fashion addict?
A. I 'd rather say I am a Style addict. I don't follow every trend but my body shape, what really suit me.

"Fashion passes, Style remains" used to say some amazing designers like Coco Chanel, "Fashion fades, Style is eternal" thought Yves Saint Laurent.

I believe in Style and in ethical fashion, more quality, more chic.

Q. A piece of advice for being chic?
A. My mum used to say : a great hair cut, high quality shoes and a jacket.
Mix your ballerinas Repetto with a vintage cheap bag and a luxury Tuxedo..mix cheap and chic! Look, research and keep your imagination and originality.
