Q: Where did you grow up?
A:I have grown up in Nigeria most of my life, but I have been in England for five years now.
Q: What have you studied?
A: I took English Literature, Theatre studies and History of Art as my A levels at Westonbirt school in Gloucester and I currently study BA Fashion Journalism at University for the creative arts (UCA), Epsom, Surrey.
Q: What are you doing now?
A:Discovering myself
Q:Links to your Social Networks...
A:I am on almost every social media platform there is, hahaha and lets see...
my instagram is: @annieihonor ,I've got a lifestyle blog {link in my bio}
Q: How would you describe your personal style in 3-5 words?
A:I would say my personal style in 3 to 5 words will be : questionable, evolving, basic, classy, edgy and street smart {that's six actually, haha}.
Q: Where do you shop?
A:I shop everywhere, I mean I can find myself at a thrift/charity shop copping a Polo Ralph Lauren jumper, then again I am at street shops like H&M, Bershka, Mango and Zara. Then again any luxury brand item I own is either saved up for or a gift, but I tend to mix stuff like Zara, with let's say H&M or Chanel.
Q: If you had $300 for a shopping spree, how many items would you buy?
A:Give me $300 and I promise you it won't be on a bag that costs $250, but rather at Mango or Charlie May knits. There are loads of stuff I want.
Q: Do you prefer street style fashion or runway fashion?
A: Street style or runway fashion? Damn! that's hard, I would say both but I am more on the street style sector. Runway is art, for me that pleasing to the eye but a little #OTT for me, whereas street style is a way of exceeding my boundaries from the simplest of combo's to distressed jeans and pattern clashing.
Q: What do you splurge on? Skimp on?
A:I splurge on a lot of tiny bits- accessories. I mean you could wear the same top with different item pieces to change the look and vamp it up. I tend to shy away from jeans, partly because my legs are ridiculously long, so spending a lot of money on jeans is rare.
Q: What is your favourite piece in your wardrobe? Least favourite?
A:My favourite piece in my wardrobe right now is my Black velvet embroidered culottes from Zara. My least favourite thing right now is my M&S Poncho.
Q: When and how did you become interested in fashion?
A:My interest in fashion was influential. I come from an artistic family and a generation which pushes fashion to be on the same level as that of any business. So I developed a passion for fashion at a young age- from wanting to be a model, to a designer, a marketer and now a journalist.
Q: Who is your favourite style icon(s)?
A:My favourite style icon right now is fashion blogger, Adenorah.
Q: What are your favorite fashion blogs? Magazines?
A: For fashion blogs? hmmm not sure, maybe Manrepeller and RadrOnline.
I love i-D magazine, Suitcase magazine (even though it is seasonal) and Dazed.
Q: Where do you find your fashion inspiration?
A:Mood boards and Instagram
Q: Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
A:I have no fashion rules when putting outfits together, my style is mine, and yours is yours. Most will say green and pink don't go but hey, if it's pleasing to you, then something must be right.
Q: What would you never wear?
A:I would never wear a pencil skirt.
Q: What would you be best at? Worst at?
A:I think I would be best at being a stylist/creative director and worst at being a designer, it's ironic because the two go hand in hand but I feel confident having the options there and creating my own look, rather than starting from scratch..
Q: What is your dream Job?
My dream job is to be a creative director, a valued critic and most of all a great individual to be with.
