Q: What have you studied, and what are you doing now?
A:Currently attending a community college, with plans to transfer to FIT to purse Fashion Merchandising
Q: How would you describe your personal style in 3-5 words?
A:Black and White, Simple...
Q: Where do you shop? Luxury or high street? New or vintage? Boutiques? Online?
A:Zara, and a small boutique in my area. But most of my shoes and accessories are designer
Q: If you had $300 for a shopping spree, how many items would you buy?
A: Probably one good pair of shoes, or a trip to my favorite boutique
Q: Do you prefer street style fashion or runway fashion?
A:Both, the street style photos from fashion week is what I look forward to the most. And then seeing the pieces walk down the runway and how icons transform them into everyday wear.
Q: What do you splurge on? Skimp on?
A:Shoes, Make-up and accessories (i.e Sunglasses, wallets..)
Q: When and how did you become interested in fashion, and where do you find your inspiration?
A:I have always been interested in fashion, but it was when my mother and I took a trip to Paris for 16th birthday that it really evolved into something much more meaningful to me.
Q: Who are your favorite style icon(s)?
A:Aimee Song, Neghin Marsala, The Kardashians, Anna Wintour, Coco Chanel...
Q: What are your favorite fashion blogs? Magazines?
A:I mainly only read Vogue and the Neiman Marcus catalog. I pay attention to bloggers but I am not religious on their posts
Q: What do you love about fashion? Not love?
A:Everything, I love how it can completely change a person, the work that goes into some of the more exclusive pieces
Q: Your favorite designers & brands?
A: Coco Chanel/Karl Lagerfeld, Christian Louboutin, Christian Dior/Raf Simons, Reem Acra, Naeem Khan
Q: Do you follow fashion trends? Which ones?
A: I used to be an advocate of constantly researching each seasons trends, but lately it is all about my personal style, what I look good in and like!
Q: Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
A: Simplicity is key, Keep the colors minimal- you will barely catch me in a article of clothing that is colorful. I love my black and whites.
Q: Which would you be best at? Worst at? (Stylist, Designer, Photographer, Buyer)
A: I would be a really good stylist. I constantly have friends/family asking for advice on what to wear and what looks good. I also think I would be a good buyer for certain brands- that is definitely one of my career choices. Designing is not a strong suit as I do have a hard time coming up with original designs, and I do believe in the fashion world originality is key no matter how hard it may be to achieve.
Q: What is your dream job?
A: Working in Vogue, achieving great success, being on the same level as Anna Wintour or working in a major fashion house such as Hermes, or Prada
Q: What are your other interests? How do you spend your spare time?
A: Of course I love to shop, travel the world, spend time with my friends and family.
