A: When I was 7 years old, I moved to Bayside and that is currently where I still reside.
Q: What have you studied, and what are you doing now?
A: I am currently an undergraduate student at university.
Q: How would you describe your personal style in 3-5 words?
A: Cute, comfortable, dynamic
Q: Where do you shop? Luxury or high street? New or vintage? Boutiques? Online?
A: I like to shop online. Depending on what the item is, I might go to the store to try it on. I'm lucky to live very close to Manhattan so there are a lot of clothing stores where I can try on items like jeans, shoes, and other accessories.
Q: If you had $300 for a shopping spree, how many items would you buy?
A: I would go to Topshop and the amount of items would be dependent on the prices of the items I'm interested in.
Q: Do you prefer street style fashion or runway fashion?
A: To wear, I prefer street style fashion; however, I adore runway fashion. Street style fashion is just more practical for my lifestyle.
Q: What do you splurge on? Skimp on?
A: I splurge on a good, flattering pair of jeans. You can never go wrong with a quality pair of jeans because they will last a long time. I might skimp on a basic tank top or tee shirt.
Q: When and how did you become interested in fashion, and where do you find your inspiration?
A: I was always interested in clothes because mother liked to dress up; so I'd watch her and then I would try on her shoes, hats, and other stuff. I guess that's how I began to care about how I dress, and throughout my life, what I wore always mattered to me. I find my inspiration through Vogue, tumblr, and also from clothes I already have. It's fun to match up clothes that you maybe haven't worn in a while and create new looks- and you don't need to spend a dime!
Q: Who are your favorite style icon(s)?
A: Jessica Alba, Nicole Richie, Rihanna, I have a lot more.
Q: What are your favorite fashion blogs? Magazines?
A: I love Vogue and I follow a lot of blogs on Tumblr dedicated to fashion.
Q: What do you love about fashion? Not love?
A: I see fashion as art that you can wear. I really admire the handwork and creativity that goes into design and craftsmanship, and I love the beautiful pieces that come as a result.
Q: Your favorite designers & brands?
A: I really admire Olivier Rousting, creative director of Balmain, and Karl Lagerfeld, creative director of Chanel. Olivier is a great designer and has a fresh take on his designs. Karl Lagerfeld is iconic, classic, and has impeccable taste. I really like Balmain and Chanel, but to wear, I really like Rag & Bone and Acne Studios.
Q: Which would you be best at? Worst at? (Stylist, Designer, Photographer, Buyer)
A: I would be a great stylist. Working with a client to meet their needs and collaborating with him/her to make great looks is a fun process.
Q: What is your dream job?
A: I'm not sure yet. Maybe a well known stylist.
Q: What are your other interests? How do you spend your spare time?
A: In my spare time I like to listen to music, play sports & games, take nice walks, try new foods (probably one of my favorites), and just relax or have fun with my friends and family. I really enjoy doing the things I just listed with the ones I love.
