Q: Where did you grow up, and where do you live now?
A: I grew up in a small town just outside of Leeds, I still live there, but in my own home.
Q: What have you studied, and what are you doing now?
A: I've studied several things, I didn't really know how to get to where I wanted to be. I've studied Psychology, sociology, English Literature and Art & Design.
Q: Links to your style networks?
A: I write daily fashion related articles for the Daily News Service: http://www.dailynewsservice.co.uk/author/danielle-senior/ - but I also have my own blog: http://theblondelovesfashion.blogspot.co.uk
Q: How would you describe your personal style in 3-5 words?
A: Casual, Parisian, Vintage, Comfortable and on-trend.
Q: Where do you shop? Luxury or high street? New or vintage? Boutiques? Online?
A: I don't stick to one specific store, I like to shop around. The British high street is incredible, so I get the majority of my clothes etc from there, but I adore anything vintage. Online shopping is so easy and simple that it can become a day to day activity, but I also enjoy a little splurge on some luxury brands.
Q: If you had $300 for a shopping spree, how many items would you buy?
A: I'm the kind of girl who likes the make the most of my money so I would make 300 go far. I would raid the high street and charity stores to buy as much as possible. I think I could buy several outfits and multiple accessories on this budget.
Q: Do you prefer street style fashion or runway fashion?
A: Street style is a more realistic representation of female style, runway is very rigid, it doesn't suit everyone's body shape or style.
Q: What do you splurge on? Skimp on?
A: I splurge on shoes because I like them to last, and I skimp on jewellery because I like to buy too much of it that I have to spend less on the pieces I buy.
Q: When and how did you become interested in fashion, and where do you find your inspiration?
A: My first interest in fashion came from a school project I did when I was 11. We had to write about a particular topic from the 1930's. I chose fashion. Researching and reading about fashion really peaked my interest and I've been obsessed ever since. My inspiration definitely comes from looking back, classic movies, classic fashion icons.
Q: Who are your favorite style icon(s)?
A: My ultimate icon is Rachel Zoe, we have a very similar style/taste. I adore classic style icons, Grace Kelly, Elizabeth Taylor and Marilyn Monroe.
Q: What are your favorite fashion blogs? Magazines?
A: Elle magazine is my favourite magazine, I've bought it for as long as I can remember. My favourite fashion blogs are thelodown by Lo Bosworth and theblondesalad.
Q: What do you love about fashion? Not love?
A: I love how it makes you feel when you're dressed in an outfit that is completely comfortable but makes you look stunning. I love how accessories or new clothes can improve your look, and I love being able to express who I am through clothes. What I don't love is when things become so mainstream that everyone is wearing the same thing exactly the same way as everyone else.
Q: Your favorite designers & brands?
A: Burberry, Mary Katrantzou, Paul & Joe, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, H&M, Elie Saab, Badgley Mischka and Oscar de la Renta.
Q: Do you follow fashion trends? Which ones?
A: I follow trends but translate them into my own style, we all interpret trends differently.
Q: Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
A: I try to make sure my outfit is different to what everyone else is wearing. The smallest detail can make such an impact.
Q: Which would you be best at? Worst at? (Stylist, Designer, Photographer, Buyer)
A: Stylist/Designer/Buyer - terrible photographer.
Q: What is your dream job?
A: I'd like to continue being a fashion writer, but my dream job would definitely be to design or buy for a high street company.
Q: What are your other interests? How do you spend your spare time?
A: I spend all my free time with my family, they're the most important thing to me.
