Q: Where did you grow up, and where do you live now?
A: Texas born and raised.

Q: Links to your style networks?
A: http://dropsofali.tumblr.com/

Q: How would you describe your personal style in 3-5 words?
A: Classic, tomboy, grunge, and relaxed.

Q: Where do you shop?
A: I shop both in-store and online. I believe that you can find great pieces in any store no matter what brand or type of clothing they sell. Department store or designer, new or vintage, thrift or boutique, I'm not picky about where I shop. My personal favorites are Topshop, Zara, H&M, and Forever 21..

Q: If you had $300 for a shopping spree, how many items would you buy?
A: I would say between 4-6. I would focus on versatile statement pieces I could wear more than once.

Q: Do you prefer street style fashion or runway fashion?
A: I prefer street style fashion. It's more personal and doesn't follow any rules. But then again, runway fashion is very innovative and creative. I should say that I love both for different reasons.

Q: What do you splurge on?
A: I splurge on shoes and handbags. I also cannot pass a great pair of jeans, no matter how much they cost!

Q: When and how did you become interested in fashion, and where do you find your inspiration?
A: My love for fashion roots in music videos. I would watch music videos from various genres whenever they were on when I was younger and become so intrigued by the story lines and especially the clothing.

Q: Who are your favorite style icon(s)?
A: I have never seen an outfit of Jessica Alba's that I didn't like. I also love the styles of Rihanna, Bella Hadid, and Emily Ratajkowski. Sharina Gutierrez also has the tomboy-look mastered.

Q: What are your favorite fashion blogs? Magazines?
A: My favorite blog off top is Cupcakes & Cashmere. As for magazines I love InStyle and of course, everybody loves Vogue!

Q: What do you love about fashion?
A: I love how fashion expresses a vision. It's almost like a painter pouring their heart out onto a canvas. The fact that fashion is art that you can wear on your body, that it has physical movement makes it great. I also love how it's subjective, rather than objective. It means something different to everyone.

Q: Your favorite designers & brands?
A: I am in awe over all of Olivier Rousteing's work at Balmain. My other favorites would be Phillip Lim, Bottega Venetta, Phillip Plein, Billy Reid, Calvin Klein, Givenchy, Chanel, Rag & Bone, Acne Studios, Misha Nonoo, Raf Simons, and Maison Margiela.

Q: Do you follow fashion trends? Which ones?
A: I don't really care for trends. If something new comes out and I like it, then I'll wear it. But a piece of clothing or style just simply being "trendy" isn't enough for me to adopt it.

Q: Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
A: I have an "half and half" rule. If you're showing off your legs, keep your top half covered. If you're showing your arms and/or cleavage, show less of your legs.

Q: Which would you be best at? (Stylist, Designer, Photographer, Buyer)
A: I feel that I could do any of these jobs well, but I may be best at designing. Designing allows you complete creative freedom and you get to make your own look. You're able to truly draw from within.. I would also enjoy being a buyer or stylist because I can ignore my personal taste and identify great pieces that appeal to certain styles. I can identify a brand's "look" and tell whether or not clothing will fit in and satisfy their audience or not.

Q: What is your dream job?
A: My dream job is to be a designer within, or the creative director of, a fashion house.

Q: What are your other interests? How do you spend your spare time?
A: Besides fashion, I also love interior and graphic design. I enjoy music, film, poetry, and architecture. I'm interested in all forms of art. In my spare time I enjoy sketching designs, writing poems, reading magazines, articles, and books; I love food so trying different restaurants is always fun. Every girls loves to shop, and I enjoy other things like swimming, bowling, being outdoors, cooking, etc.
