A: I grew up in the subs of New York and now I live in NYC.
Q: What have you studied, and what are you doing now?
A: I am studying fashion merchandising at the moment, I am currently a buying intern at Barneys New York.
Q: How would you describe your personal style in 3-5 words?
A: Edgy but clean with an urban influence.
Q: Where do you shop? Luxury or high street? New or vintage? Boutiques? Online?
A: I shop at Barneys New York, All Saints, Zara and even some random online places. I love both new and vintage, I love a great vintage band tee or 501s with some character. I love luxury but I am definitely more intrigued by street wear, especially men's.
Q: If you had $300 for a shopping spree, how many items would you buy?
A: If I had $300 for a shopping spree I would probably buy 2 quality, classic pieces that would last me for awhile.
Q: Do you prefer street style fashion or runway fashion?
A: Street style fashion, hands down.
Q: What do you splurge on? Skimp on?
A: I splurge mostly on hand bags, denim, leather, perfect bodycon dresses and vintage teeshirts. Thinking about it right now, I barely skimp..
Q: When and how did you become interested in fashion, and where do you find your inspiration?
A: Ever since I can remember I have been interested in fashion. I really don't know when it began but it has always been really important to me. My inspirations essentially come from street style.
Q: Who are your favorite style icon(s)?
A: Pharrell Williams, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Zoe Kravitz, Emily Ratajkowski, Gilda Ambrosio, Rihanna and Aleali May.
Q: What are your favorite fashion blogs? Magazines?
A: My favorite fashion blog is http://celebinspire.tumblr.com. If I am in a outfit rut, I go to that tumblr and I get really great inspo! ELLE magazine is a favorite! I interned for them and it made my love for fashion grow fonder. Vogue and Wonderland magazine are great too.
Q: What do you love about fashion?
A: I love fashion because it is about expression. I feel like fashion has a voice that is louder than words and I want to express myself through it as much as I can.
Q: Your favorite designers & brands?
A: My favorites are Alexander Wang, Rag and Bone, Cushine et Ochos, Mugler, and Saint Laurent. I love All Saints and American Apparel. I am starting to get more into Mango also.
Q: Do you follow fashion trends? Which ones?
A: I really try not to. I have been living for the bomber jacket trend and I like seeing the return of an overload on denim!
Q: Which would you be best at? Worst at? (Stylist, Designer, Photographer, Buyer)
A: Best-Buying! It is a lot of research and knowing your customer. It is also amazing to build relationships with vendors and to be responsible for what is in stores. Worst- Designing, I am creative but not THAT creative. I respect designers because they execute their visions and create.
Q: What is your dream job?
A: It is really between being a buyer at Barneys or doing PR for designer I love!
