A: I grew up in Valparaiso, Indiana and I currently live in Bloomington, Indiana.
Q: What have you studied, and what are you doing now?
A: I am a junior at Indiana University studying Apparel Merchandising with a minor in Marketing.
Q: How would you describe your personal style in 3-5 words?
A: I always get stumped with this question. My style varies so much. On a daily basis being a college student going to my classes, my style is athleisure. Whenever I am going out and about or what not, I do whatever style I'm feeling. One day I could be wearing vans with ripped jeans and a Guns N' Roses t shirt and the next day I could be in pink and floral. I also love to channel a more bohemian style in the summer time. I would say my style goes anywhere from chic grunge to girly. I enjoy have a mixed taste with my style, it keeps things interesting.
Q: Where do you shop? Luxury or high street? New or vintage? Boutiques? Online?
A: I shop anywhere that I find something cute! Being a college student, I shop more affordably but I love to spend my money at Express, H&M, Forever 21, Missguided and Lululemon.
Q: If you had $300 for a shopping spree, how many items would you buy?
A: Either on one high quality item or several essential pieces to add to my collection.
Q: Do you prefer street style fashion or runway fashion?
A: I appreciate both very much. I do love street style fashion and focus that more into my looks. Although, I believe you can incorporate both street style and runway fashion into each other.
Q: What do you splurge on? Skimp on?
A: I splurge on leggings. I skimp on jewelry.
Q: When and how did you become interested in fashion, and where do you find your inspiration?
A: I have always been interested in fashion ever since I was young. My mom and two older sisters
Q: What do you love about fashion? Not love?
A: I love that you can express who you are without even saying a word. You can really get a feel for who someone is by what they wear. Something I do not love about fashion is that I think sometimes the trends, social media, celebrities can almost influence people TOO much, causing them to stray away from who they really are and what their personal style is.
Q: Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
A: First rule is whatever makes YOU feel your best. Second, I think balance is very important.
Q: Which would you be best at? Worst at? (Stylist, Designer, Photographer, Buyer)
A: I would be best as a Buyer and Stylist and probably worst as a Designer.
Q: What is your dream job?
A: My dream job is to be a buyer for a luxury brand/company.
Q: What are your other interests? How do you spend your spare time?
A: I love to be outdoors, draw, work out and have a good time!!
