A: timeless, seasonless, personal, expressionful
Q: Where do you shop? Luxury or high street? New or vintage? Boutiques? Online?
A: zara or urban outfitters are my go-tos. i like a mix of luxury, high street, new, and vintage combined together for a more personal look. i'm definitely a guilty online shopper, but i can't walk past a unique looking boutique shop and not have a look.
Q: If you had $300 for a shopping spree, how many items would you buy?
A: i'd probably spend it on one, quality, well-made item, i've been lusting over for a while. quality over quanitity.
Q: Do you prefer street style fashion or runway fashion?
A: street style!
Q: What do you splurge on? Skimp on?
A: i splurge on staple items i know i'll get a lot of use out of. classic silhouettes and quality materials i know will last throughout my journey. i skimp on jewelry and fad pieces. i should probably start investing in some nice jewelry pieces, though.
Q: When and how did you become interested in fashion, and where do you find your inspiration?
A: i became interested in fashion on my 13th birthday when my mom bought me my first 'seventeen' magazine. i'd been such a tomboy growing up, but i saw how fun and expressive fashion was, and i have been hooked ever since. i find my inspiration literally everywhere. from the streets i walk to the street style captures other people walk, i think inspiration can be found anywhere.

A: alexa chung and anyone who's outfit catches my eye!
Q: What are your favorite fashion blogs? Magazines?
A: i like christie tyler of nycbambi and i follow a lot of other fashion curators on instagram i really admire, such as ratandboa and 4thandbleeker. i love elle, vogue, and harper's bazaar.
Q: What do you love about fashion? Not love?
A: i love how you can reflect what you're feeling depending on the day and your mood. there are so many facets that can influence your style choice and you have complete control over how you present yourself and how you're feeling to the world. fashion can often be competitive; i have a love-hate relationship with this factor. part of me just wants to do my own things, but another part loves a little competition.

A: lovers and drifters club, realisation par, raf simons, saint laurent, dior, valentino
Q: Do you follow fashion trends? Which ones?
A: i don't intend to follow them. i wear what i like and what seems new and interesting to me. sometimes that happens to be a current 'trend', other times it's not. i don't like to be 'trendy' because i think trends die fast and are a shallow scope of what fashion means and represents.

A: stylist. that is the position i am currently pursuing. i just recently finished an internship at urban outfitters' home office in philadelphia as a women's styling intern.

A: to be a freelance stylist able to work on editorials for a broad variety of projects

A: i love to write. i run a blog that i consider to be a life and style blog. different from a lifestyle blog because i like to try and keep it very raw and honest. and since my passion lies in fashion, i like to throw in pictures from shoots my friends and i put together.
