Q: Where did you grow up, and where do you live now?
A: Ontario, Canada

Q: What have you studied, and what are you doing now?
A: I studied International Development, and now I am working on a graduate certificate.

Q: How would you describe your personal style in 3-5 words?
A: Vintage, femme, unique

Q: Where do you shop? Luxury or high street? New or vintage? Boutiques? Online?
A: I shop at independent boutiques and vintage clothing clothes for unique pieces, but anywhere else for the basics of my closet.

Q: If you had $300 for a shopping spree, how many items would you buy?
A: One. The pair of boots from Free People that I has always coveted.

Q: Do you prefer street style fashion or runway fashion?
A: Street style, I like to see how people express themselves on an every day basis.

Q: What do you splurge on? Skimp on?
A: I splurge on dresses, and skimp on blouses and tops.

Q: When and how did you become interested in fashion, and where do you find your inspiration?
A: My interest in fashion started when I was in first year university. I started watching American's Next Top Model religiously, which introduced me to the fashion world. Prior to university, I went to a catholic school with a uniform, so I never really cared how I looked. In university, I started buying Vogue and Nylon magazines, followed designers and stylish musicians on instagram, browsing online stores and shopping at local vintage boutiques. My inspiration comes from music, I like to imagine and draw outfits based on the style of a song. I am also heavily inspired by artists; I find that those who have a creative medium like music and art tend to have the most interesting senses of style.

Q: Who are your favorite style icon(s)?
A: My favourite style icons are: Twiggy, Jean Shrimpton, Kate Moss, Brigitte Bardot, Suki Waterhouse and Bettie Page

Q: What are your favorite fashion blogs? Magazines?
A: My favourite fashion blogs include: mermaidens, chriselle lim, and birdasaurus. My favourite fashion magazines are Dress to Kill, Nylon, FLARE and Vogue.

Q: What do you love about fashion? Not love?
A: I love how style and fashion are mediums by which we can express ourselves. How you dress is how you present yourself to the world. What I dislike is the elitist attitude that comes with fashion. Not all of us can afford the brands we like, so we compensate and buy what we can and want to.

Q: Your favorite designers & brands?
A: My favourite brands include: Free People, American Apparel, Modcloth, Nasty Gal, The White Paper, 1861, Rehab, SOOP SOOP and Valfre.

Q: Do you follow fashion trends? Which ones?
A: I don't normally follow fashion trends, I hate to conform, but I really like high-rise pants and neutrals/pastels.

Q: Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
A: No denim on denim, no sequences during the day, and head scarf or neck scarf, but not both.

Q: Which would you be best at? Worst at? (Stylist, Designer, Photographer, Buyer)
A: I would be best at stylist, or buyer, but I don't have the skills to be a photographer or designer. I am actually really interested in learning about how to design and make your own clothes.

Q: What is your dream job?
A: I don't know yet.

Q: What are your other interests? How do you spend your spare time?
A: I read a lot of philosophy, and fiction in my spare time. I also like to write poetry and short stories.
