Q: How would you describe your personal style in 3-5 words?
A: simple, classic and elegant
Q: Where do you shop? Luxury or high street? New or vintage? Boutiques? Online?
A: I mostly shop at the popular stores here like H&M, Zara and Mango, but I also like to explore new stores and often I find something there that no one else has in their wardrobe. When I'm wearing those items, people are often surprised, because they have never seen it before.
Q: If you had $300 for a shopping spree, how many items would you buy?
A: It depends on my mood. One day I go for quality and the other day for quantity, so it's not predictable. But I think that I will go for quality, so the number of items will be lower than usual, probably like 5 to 6 good pieces that are time-proof.
Q: Do you prefer street style fashion or runway fashion?
A: I think street style is more interesting, while everyone is dressed different. Besides, street style works more inspirational for me, because different people wear the same pieces in different ways. I often use street style when I'm out of inspiration or combinations with my clothes. But this doesn't mean I'm not a big fan of runway fashion. It's only just such a pity that they make the most beautiful clothes that are too expensive to buy. I like it when bloggers create pieces on the runway and adopt it to their own style. That way the pieces really get a personality.
Q: When and how did you become interested in fashion, and where do you find your inspiration?
A: I have always been addicted to fashion, trends and models. I mostly find my inspiration in magazines, online and on the street, so basically everywhere.
Q: Who are your favorite style icon(s)?
A: I honestly don't have one. I combine parts of looks from other people and create new looks with those parts, so I'm not really a copycat if you know what I mean.
Q: What are your favorite fashion blogs? Magazines?
A: I got a year of Vogue for my birthday and I love to read it. It gives me inspiration and keeps me updated. When it comes to fashion blogs, I'm not particularly a follower, but more a collector of different blogs.
Q: Do you follow fashion trends? Which ones?
A: Yes, but I only follow the ones I like. I'm not the person that throws away all the clothes that were last years trend, because I'm not such a fan of the statement pieces. That is also the reason why my wardrobe is almost exploding....
Q: Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
A: I don't have rules, but I always check if everything comes together when I'm wearing it and if my best body features are complimented by the outfit.
