Q: Where did you grow up, and where do you live now?
A: I grew up in Singapore but now I live near Boston in the United States.

Q: What have you studied, and what are you doing now?
A: I'm still in high school so I'm primarily a student!

Q: Links to your style networks?
A: raglane.tumblr.com

Q: How would you describe your personal style in 3-5 words?
A: Undone, basic, comfortable.

Q: Where do you shop? Luxury or high street? New or vintage? Boutiques? Online?
A: I'm more of an online shopper for sure and most of my wardrobe comes from stuff I dug up online but I love boutiques. I like how personal they are and the coat I'm currently living in is from a little boutique I found in Tokyo.

Q: If you had $300 for a shopping spree, how many items would you buy?
A: I'd probably spend it all on a pair of boots, let's be honest.

Q: Do you prefer street style fashion or runway fashion?
A: Street style fashion by far.

Q: What do you splurge on? Skimp on?
A: I splurge on footwear. I think shoes really tie an outfit together and I like having that confidence from head-to-toe. I also tend to spend a bit extra on make-up products because there's nothing more disheartening than a crummy concealer.

Q: When and how did you become interested in fashion, and where do you find your inspiration?
A: I've found that I am at my most radiant when I'm in an outfit I'm proud of. I've always loved window-shopping and reading the fashion magazines at the hair salon. A lot of my personal style has been inspired by Liv Tyler's aesthetic decisions in the '90s. Let's just say "cool" has never been so effortless. I also hopped on on the Audrey Hepburn bandwagon when I was eleven and have since then been absolutely infatuated with every single outfit she wears in How to Steal A Million. That scene when she's wearing that shimmery silver eye shadow under that black chantilly lace eye mask, puffing on the end of a cigarette, has inspired so much of my wardrobe. OBSESSED.

Q: Who are your favorite style icon(s)?
A: Audrey, Liv, Grace Kelly and Jean Shrimpton.

Q: What are your favorite fashion blogs? Magazines?
A: I'm a huge fan of Harper's Bazaar.

Q: What do you love about fashion? Not love?
A: I love the fact that it's constantly evolving, adapting with the times and the unpredictability of each season. The platform the industry has been given in our society today, however, often inspires body shame rather than body positivity. I know a lot of designers have been actively working to combat that but I feel like this issue should be more widely acknowledged across the board.

Q: Your favorite designers & brands?
A: I LOVE Rag & Bone, Alice + Olivia and Valentino. Valentino's latest season was to die for.

Q: Do you follow fashion trends? Which ones?
A: I'm really big on fur now.

Q: Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
A: I look for pieces that are comfortable, that empower me and make me feel prepared to take on the world. There shouldn't be rules in fashion just wear what makes you happy.

Q: Which would you be best at? Worst at? (Stylist, Designer, Photographer, Buyer)
A: I think I'd be best at being a buyer because I shop so much in my day-to-day life already! I think I'd be worst at being a photographer. I take crappy iPhone photos but that's really the limit to my talent.

Q: What is your dream job?
A: Full-time fashion blogger.

Q: What are your other interests? How do you spend your spare time?
A: I love to write and paint. I spent the majority of my free time online, lusting after clothes that are out of my price range.
