A: I grew up in Split, Croatia. Spent 17 years there and then I moved to Zagreb, where I studied for my Bachelor's degree. Now I live in Berlin and I am pursuing my Master's degree, which I will finish in September.
Q: What have you studied, and what are you doing now?
A: I have been studying Fashion design for my Bachelors, Theory and culture of Fashion and now I am focused on Sustainability in Fashion and Marketing on my studies at ESMOD.
Q: Where do you shop? Luxury or high street? New or vintage? Boutiques? Online?
A: I don't like to exclude any option while shopping, mostly I just go around to different stores and explore everything.
Q: If you had $300 for a shopping spree, how many items would you buy?
A: Probably 1.
Q: Do you prefer street style fashion or runway fashion?
A: Runway is always highly influenced by street style and so is vice versa. I like how they implement each other.
Q: What do you splurge on? Skimp on?
A: I am not a crazed shopping maniac, I like to really adore something before I spend certain amount of money on it.
Q: When and how did you become interested in fashion, and where do you find your inspiration?
A: I became interested in fashion since elementary school, I was amazed by the silhouettes and cuts (not being aware of it then), later I found inspiration in cultural and other aspects of fashion. It is such an enormous industry and it is possible to be inspired by anything, therefore I usually don't look for inspiration, it comes by unexpected.
Q: Who are your favorite style icon(s)?
A: At the moment I am a huge fan of Joan Didion.
Q: What are your favorite fashion blogs? Magazines?
A: I like Man Repeller because it is so unpretentious and laid back. I also like Dansk, Vogue Japan, CR...
Q: What do you love about fashion? Not love?
A: I love how resourceful it gets sometimes. I don't like how, in spite of that, it's agitated to move forward.
Q: Your favorite designers & brands?
A: There are too many to count, but maybe I love Haider Ackermann more than anyone.
Q: Do you follow fashion trends? Which ones?
A: Naturally, I do. I am aware of trends that cruise around high fashion and high street fashion. I cannot say I do not follow them, however I don't buy clothes that often to consider myself as a trend follower, but shoes are easiest to spot, trend wise.
Q: Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
A: All the rules I said I will never break when I was younger, I broke. So I try to avoid rules.
Q: Which would you be best at? Worst at? (Stylist, Designer, Photographer, Buyer)
A: Best: Stylist, Designer, Buyer. Worst: Photographer. I don't like my photographs, never thought I had talent for that. I can spot a good one, though.
Q: What is your dream job?
A: My dream job is not what, more based on how. I like my job to be fast paced, enable me to travel from one culture to another, make me improve myself in any way possible, non stop.
