Q: Where did you grow up, and where do you live now?
A: I live in Hamburg, a great city with a classy and chic style.
Q: What have you studied, and what are you doing now?
A: I study fashion and design management in Hamburg.
Q: Links to your style networks?
A: runwaywithme.tumblr.com - more is coming soon so stay tuned.
Q: How would you describe your personal style in 3-5 words?
A: unagitated, timeless, classy
Q: Where do you shop? Luxury or high street? New or vintage? Boutiques? Online?
A: I love luxury pieces from Céline, Ellery and Rosie Assoulin, they built the essentials of my wardrobe. My Basics are from the highstreet for example Acne Studios.
Q: If you had $300 for a shopping spree, how many items would you buy?
A: I would invest the 300$ in one classic piece like a Jbrand jeans or an Equipment silk shirt.
Q: Do you prefer street style fashion or runway fashion?
A: Runway fashion is a great inspiration and absolutely beautiful, but street style shows how to bring these looks down to the street and this is where all the fun starts.
Q: What do you splurge on? Skimp on?
A: I invest a lot of money in classic bags from Chanel and Céline, black shoes from Acne Studios and Saint Laurent and in classic Coats for example Isabel Marant.
There's nothing I really skimp on.
Q: When and how did you become interested in fashion, and where do you find your inspiration?
A: I was always into fashion. Most of my inspiration I find in my tumblr blog, some instagram accounts and magazines.
Q: Who are your favorite style icon(s)?
A: The look of the Olsen sisters is so effortlessly cool and Elin Kling still beats them all.
Q: What are your favorite fashion blogs? Magazines?
A: Camille Charriere and Pernille Teisbaek are doing a great job on theire blogs.
My favourite at the moment is Harper's Bazaar, but Vogue is a monthly must, too.
Q: What do you love about fashion? Not love?
A: Fashion is a way to express yourself, show who you are, create individuality - that's amazing. Fashion can make you feel beautiful and confident; every woman should feel sexy and attractive and fashion can achieve that.
If there's anything I don't love about it, then it's beeing judged for your style. Everone should wear whatever makes her happy without beeing looked at funny.
Q: Your favorite designers & brands?
A: Celine beats them all every season; The Row, J.W. Anderson, Loewe, StellaMcCartney, Acne Studios are amazing.
Q: Do you follow fashion trends? Which ones?
A: My style is quite monochrome and classy, so you won't see me in a pink bomber jacket or silver glitter boots. But you can modify trends and style them with clean basics like a white shirt so they look more simple. And suddenly a golden Gucci Plissee skirt has a place in my wardrobe.
Q: Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
A: First: Be careful with proportions: If you wear an oversized top, combine a skinny pants so the silhouette doesn't get totally lost
Second: White T-shirts - go with really everything and style down flashy pieces. For example style a round neck shirt with a satin flare pants for a cool but chic look.
Q: Which would you be best at? Worst at? (Stylist, Designer, Photographer, Buyer)
A: I think I would be a good buyer or stylist, I recognize a trend quite quickly and I know what would suit a person.
For design I'm not creative and talented enough, I'm more into the finished clothes ;)
Q: What is your dream job?
A: Definitely something with fashion.
Q: What are your other interests? How do you spend your spare time?
A: I spend a loooot time with fashion, but there's always enough time for friends, familly and sport.
