Q: Where did you grow up, and where do you live now?
A: I grew up in Cape Town, South Africa but I've lived in London for six years. My heart and head spend time between the two.

Q: What have you studied, and what are you doing now?
A: I have a diploma in Fashion Design from London College of Fashion and did a degree in Fashion Styling at Istituto Marangoni. I now work for Lulu Guinness - the accessories designer.

Q: Links to your style networks?
A:
www.trunkarchive.com
www.fashiongonerogue.com
http://www.style.com

http://www.msgm.it

Q: How would you describe your personal style in 3-5 words?
A: Ever-changing, structured, simple

Q: Where do you shop? Luxury or high street? New or vintage? Boutiques? Online?
A: Online. My wardrobe is built up of all the clothes I collect from various places and stages in my life. Now, I tend to spend more money on one off luxury pieces from online brands or boutiques. I buy basics and ready to wear items on the high street. I have vintage pieces that I have collected over the years - my favourite being an embellished cardigan that everyone loves!

Q: If you had $300 for a shopping spree, how many items would you buy?
A: I would spend a third of it replacing my basics and then I would either buy two high end pieces or one luxury piece. It would definitely be clothing items over shoes or accessories.

Q: Do you prefer street style fashion or runway fashion?
A: I think I admire street fashion, but I'm not a big fan of making a statement for the sake of it. I think fashion should be effortless and not overdone. Runway fashion isn't obtainable for everyone, but I LOVE to watch the shows and am a huge supporter of up and coming designers - there is so much talent in our generation.

Q: What do you splurge on? Skimp on?
A: I splurge on one off pieces from new designers or brands like Etre Cecile or Jamie Wei Huang. I don't spend more than 100 on shoes - I tend to spend more on tops and jackets then I do on jeans or shoes. I have SO many bags, working for Lulu which is a good thing as I would never splurge on handbags! Although now, I don't know how I managed before I had all the bags I have.

Q: When and how did you become interested in fashion, and where do you find your inspiration?
A: I was about five... I asked my mum every day if I could change outfits throughout the day depending on my mood! I think thats where it started, but when I was 16 I decided I would be moving to London when I was 18 to study fashion and that was all there was to it. I find my inspiration from following various people on instagram and I get my best ideas when I am spending time outside. I find London inspiring - its the best city in the world.

Q: Who are your favorite style icon(s)?
A: Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen, Kate Moss, my best friend Eleanor. I don't really have icons as such - I can sometimes find high fashion intimidating and just prefer to appreciate ordinary people who know how to put things together.

Q: What are your favorite fashion blogs? Magazines?
A: Lula, Hunger, Another and Vogue when Kate Moss is on the cover. I follow all the usual blogs - Bryon Boy, Gary Pepper Girl, Lily Melrose, Suzie Bubble and Olivia Palmero. I have mixed feelings about fashion blogs.

Q: What do you love about fashion? Not love?
A: I love the creativity and the way clothes can make you feel. I love the way I feel excited when a piece of clothing jumps out at me and I can imagine it with a variety of things I already own. Fashion is exciting and makes people think and create. I like the sense of community within fashion.

Q: Your favorite designers & brands?
A: Acne, Cos, Jamie Wei Huang, & Other Stories, Mary Katarantzou, Alice McCall, Etre Cecile, Margiela, Alexander Wang, Stella McCartney, Balmain

Q: Which would you be best at? Worst at? (Stylist, Designer, Photographer, Buyer)
A: I am at home when I am styling and love putting things together for myself and other people. I studied design, but I found it hard to be new and current at the same time.

Q: What is your dream job?
A: Creative director at Vogue UK or to own my own business.

Q: What are your other interests? How do you spend your spare time?
A: I run and do yoga. I love being outside and surrounded by friends and family.
