Q: How would you describe your personal style in 3-5 words?
A: Classic, Effortless, Simple
Q: If you had $300 for a shopping spree, how many items would you buy?
A: It depends...One or two items probably. I would definitely buy something classic; that never goes out of style, and good quality clothes
Q: Do you prefer street style fashion or runway fashion?
A: Street style, because you get to see real people wear clothes or styles from the runway
Q: What do you splurge on? Skimp on?
A: I splurge on basic clothes, like blazers tailored bottoms, simple blouses and dresses. I also splurge on good quality shoes and bags. I would probably skimp on seasonal pieces that go out of style after one season.
Q: When and how did you become interested in fashion, and where do you find your inspiration?
A: I became interested in fashion through the media. I find my inspiration through many things like street style, runways, editorials, films and also travelling.
Q: Who are your favorite style icon(s)?
A: Ines de La Fressange, Alexa Chung, Katharine Hepburn & Charlotte Gainsbourg
Q: What are your favorite fashion blogs? Magazines?
A: Man Repeller (I love how they're so relaxed with fashion) & Harper's Bazaar UK
Q: What do you love about fashion? Not love?
A: I love how fashion allows people to feel good about themselves and how it expresses their personality. I hate how the fashion industry sets up an unrealistic standard of beauty, I mean, not everyone can have model like features...
Q: Your favorite designers & brands?
A: Alexander Mcqueen & John Galliano. I love how they turned clothes into works of art. I greatly appreciate how their collections have deeper meanings. I also love Alber Elbaz and his eye for structure and texture. As for brands, Chloe would be my pick. I love how they present women as strong with a feminine and classic side.
Q: Do you follow fashion trends? Which ones?
A: I don't really follow trends. My style is very classic. I would only pick "trendy" pieces that could last more than one season.
Q: Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
A: Good fit and good proportions.
Q: Which would you be best at? Worst at? (Stylist, Designer, Photographer, Buyer)
A: I think would good at being a buyer. Catching up on runway shows and presentations every season is a hobby of mine. I tend to reflect on pieces that would be trendy, versatile and wearable. I would also love to be a stylist. I love how being a stylist allows you to put different pieces together to have a look that can complete an experience.
Q: What is your dream job?
A: Become a buyer for a high-end store or maybe own one ;-)
Q: What are your other interests? How do you spend your spare time?
A: I like taking photos and travelling.
